Flight

JaneJaney designed the costumes for Flight, a new commission for Rambert’s 90th birthday celebrations which sits as part of a triple bill called Contemporaries. Set within shifting, monumental environments, the piece is concerned with space and our obsession with defining and claiming it, as we continually replace one set of limitations with another. Searching for idealised, unobtainable alternatives, the performers find themselves in worlds that are both strange and familiar.
